Question about Ghost Solution Suite 2.5
Oct 30th, 2008 at 2:42pm

I currently own Ghost Solution Suite 2.5.  I have installed it and it seems to be working fine.

My question is this:
Is it possible to install the equivalent of the bootable CD to a hard drive, then install that hard drive permanently in my cloning station PC (a dedicated PC that we have here that is only used to do clones) and just boot directly from the hard drive instead of using CDs or floppy disks like we have been doing?

If it is possible, how would I go about doing that?

Explain more clearly?  I'm not sure I can do that.

Basically, I would like to take the files that would normally be burned to a CD and used as a bootable CD to get into Ghost and instead of burning them to a CD, install them permanently on a hard drive - then use that hard drive to boot into Ghost and do my disk-to-disk clones.

Does that clear it up?

Steve,

You should get some ideas from this thread.
