My apologies for posting duplicates in both Ghost 9.0 and Ghost 2003 forums so please delete and/ or move where you see fit. I wasn’t sure which forum as both consumer/ home-user CD versions came from Norton 1-2 years ago. I never installed them b/c I got a virus on my XP Pro machine. I’ve been reading and cannot figure out which to use. I have the software & keys to backup my XP & Office 2003 (I believe I will lose my Office 2002 w/ FrontPage).

I want to run kill disk & reload my machine w/ XP Pro & Office 2003 and then make an image so I will never have to reload the software product keys again as I don’t know how much longer they may be valid. Also, it would save time for future re-installs b/c I could just insert 1 disk and my OS, key codes, validation, & MS updates would already be there. Is this possible?

Should I try to activate 1 disk now before kill-disk or use one now? I'm guessing I can't use both disks even if on separate machines.

I saw many knowledgeable posters, so maybe you have insight on my semi-related issue. Should I make a separate partition on my 40GB HD for Ghost, my OS w/ or w/o Office 03’? I also have a 320GB external HD I can partition 4 backup.

I reloaded a Vista laptop 4 a friend and the machine automatically partitioned a backup drive and allowed incremental backups which was really cool. Not sure if XP can do this. My OS & Office is most important. If I can back up my other programs & data separately on an image…great, but not nearly as important.

Any thoughts & suggestions are Greatly Appreciated!

Thanks in Advance!
