No visible drives on new install of ghost-14
Feb 11th, 2009 at 9:30pm

After searching this forum for terms like `invisible' `not visible' etc I didn't get any hits so guessing this problem is either rare or hasn't happened to anyone but me.

On a fresh install of ghost-14 using the download provided by symantec, and after letting the live update  run.  When I run ghost and select for a `One Time Backup'.. when I get to the screen where you pick a drive to backup, there are absolutely none visible as you can see in the attached window shot.   Of course there is an 80GB hard drive present.

What can cause something like this?  I see no kind of error message or any indication that something is amiss.  I see nothing that looks odd when I view the C drive in explorer.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here but I don't see any attachment on my post.  It was one of the allowed formats (png) and I used the tools available to attach it.

Am I just blind or is there some non-obvious step I'm missing?

Harry,

I think there was a similar report but I can't recall the details. I suggest uninstall Ghost, restart, install Ghost.
