How do I archive select e-mails to a DVD in Thunderbird?
How do I view the archive DVD's e-mails in Thunderbird?

Due to the way Thunderbird stores its emails, archiveing select emails would be tedious.  If you'd like to archive all your emails, just copy the files Thunderbird stores the mail in onto the DVD.  To recover them, copy the files from the DVD back to the proper place on your computer.

Here is some info about where Thunderbird stores the email:

The other option is to create a gmail account and then forward anything you want to archive to it.

Thunderbird is good, I am using it, but it is little bit slow, is there any way to speed it up while transferring emails. Smiley

Not sure what you mean by this.  Do you mean receiving emails, or sending them, or archiving them?

If you mean sending and receiving, the speed has nothing to do with Thunderbird.  It has to do with the speed of your network, Internet connection, and mail servers.
