I was at Fry's Electronics a bit ago and picked up the following hardware/software package.  I've had time to work with it a bit this weekend and it seems to work as advertised.  I was able to clone the 250GB HDD of a fairly new laptop that had 3 partitions.  Not much data on the drive, cloned it to a new, unallocated 500GB HDD.  The software (EZ Gig II) took about 23 minutes to complete the clone.  All cloned partitions were scaled up by a factor of 2 as could be reasonably expected.
