Creating Simple Ghostcast boot disk?
May 24th, 2010 at 3:45pm

I'm using ghost v. 11 and want to create a simple boot disk that will load up into ghost.exe and have the ghostcast option not grayed out.

I've successfully created a basic boot disk to capture to/from a USB drive but I'd like to know if it's possible to create a disk that contains all the nic drivers for the various systems I work with and that can simply just boot into ghost and give me the option to click multicast to type in the name of the session I want to work with on my server?

If there is no quick and easy way to accomplish this, any helpful guides or tutorials to create such a disk (if possible) would be appreciated.

Thanks

Have a look at...

I'm pretty sure folks use this for multi-casting. You could create an ISO for each system you work with. All ISOs can be placed on a single USB flash drive and you can choose which to use from a grub4DOS menu.
