Ghost 15 to do incremental backups of my data?
Jul 30th, 2010 at 3:03pm

Hello,

Ever since I moved from film to digital for my photography over 4 years ago, last time I checked, I have almost 500GB of data currently stored on multiple hard drives, with drives stored in 3 locations.
OK, with that background info out of the way, what's the best way to setup Ghost 15 to do incremental backups of my data?
It would be nice to automate this process, so I don't need to think about it.
I see where I can set this up in Ghost, but all it gives me are box's to check for the the file extension of there choice.
There isn't a check box for the file extension for my files.
To be honest, Ghost is great for making images and Clones, but to do incremental backups of my data, it seems quite clumsy.
I really would like verification between source and destination as well if possible.

Bill,

I can't recall anyone saying they liked Ghost 15 Files and Folders backups. The backups aren't in native format and it is difficult to find a particular file in your backup. I use Second Copy 7 for data backups. Karen's Replicator is a popular free alternative.
