Norton ghost 14 driver validation missing drivers help!!!
Sep 1st, 2010 at 5:09pm

Hello,
This is the first time I am using Norton ghost 14 and also asking a question in a forum like this. So, excuse me if I ask something wrong  Grin

I am a college student and I am now using norton ghost 14 to make an image of my hard disk. But after I run the driver validation, it said wifi adapter and wan miniport are missing. So, what should I do? my OS is vista home premium 64 bit.
Just using the system recovery disk from norton is enough?
Do I need to create a custom one? When I tried to create one, it said some 64-bit drivers might not be compatible and asked me to add my own drivers which I don't have.

Also, I have never tried to restore using norton ghost. So, I am just wondering whether I really need these missing drivers (wifi adapter and wan miniport) during restoration?

Thanks a lot. Any help would be appreciated

Just about everyone is told those drivers are missing. They are of no importance. Boot from your standard Ghost CD and click Analyze, Explore My Computer. If you can see your files and folders there is nothing wrong with the CD.
