	Can not restore the CF card (Embedded XP) image ? Sep 29^th, 2010 at 11:47pm Hi all, I have a ghost image of a CF card (Embedded XP). And i would like to restore it to my new CF card. But can not restore it using Norton Ghost. Can i restore the image to removable disk using norton ghost. Please help me to solve this. Version : Norton Ghost 15 OS : Windows XP SP2 Regards Jithin K

I can not use the Norton Ghost to restore the image to my CF card . My Norton ghost is not supporting removable disk. Do u have any idea about it..

I've imaged and restored USB flash drives with Image for Windows. Would you like to test it with your CF card? http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/image-for-windows.htm There is a 30 day trial usage.

	Re: Can not restore the CF card (Embedded XP) image ? Reply #7 - Oct 12^th, 2010 at 4:52am Can you image the card again with IFW? Or you can try IFW to "Copy" (clone) one card to another card. I have no ideas about using Ghost for the job.

But while booting from the card the virtual memory error happends. Like no page file or pagefile size is tool small. I used some other tool also ( R-drive etc) but same issue. Thats why i move to Norton Ghost. Any idea Thanks for your support.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for ur response. I have a windows embedded Xp (1GB CF card) . And i want to restore the image of that card to my 2GB CF card. And my 1GB CF card is working fine. But after restoring to 2GB card, after the successfull booting, it showing an error that the paging file is too small. So i just checked out system properties -> advanced -> performance -> advanced -> virtual memory . There total paging file size is zero. So i set it 250MB, 512 etc . But after restarting again it becomes zero.

This what my issue ?

	Re: Can not restore the CF card (Embedded XP) image ? Reply #12 - Oct 13^th, 2010 at 3:40am @ Jithin Try this. Image the 1 GB card again and in the Options list, remove the ticks from Omit Page File Data and Omit Hibernation Data. Then restore this new image to your 2 GB card.
