I watched all the videos. The ideas I was able to get out of it have come in handy. Really helped improve the way I think about writing code, especially for expressiveness. Even helped me think about the reuse-ability of a few hardware projects.
It also got me interested in stateless languages like Lisp. Erlang is another language. Because you can't save a state, you can run things in parallel without worrying about race conditions. The go through it toward the end of the series. Interesting idea. Unfortunately, I haven't had much time to dig deeper into it all.
