Motherboard Change - Ghost 14
May 7th, 2011 at 11:31am

Hey,

I hope someone will be able to help me here before I do anything.

I currently have a Gigabyte X58A UD3R motherboard with a GTX470.

I want to run a second 470 and becuase of the close spacing of the PCI-E ports I cannot.

So, I have just purchased a second hand Asus P6T Deluxe V2 and another GTX470.

I use Norton Ghost 14 to regularly image my drive in case of failure.

My current hard drive setup is C: is an Intel X25-M 80gb SSD as my OS drive.

I also have 2 x 500gb WD Barricudas running in RAID0 as my data drive.

My question is how should I go about imaging my system correctly so that I can swap out the gigabyte board for the Asus board and then have no problems reconnecting things up?

Thanks in advance.

Mike

Which OS are you using?

Does your SSD need different drivers for the new motherboard?

Ghost probably won't be used at all.
