What the heck is going on?! Every day there is a *huge* number of *Pre-Registered Members*!

This morning there are 102!

This appears to be a regular occurrence lately!

No where near that number are actually completing their registration. Are these automated bots that are trolling the internet for forums to register on--and they just keep doing it?

	Re: Pre-Registered Members Reply #2 - Dec 24^th, 2011 at 9:58am i have started banning ip's and email addys. a new email addy will be ez to get, a new ip takes a little more sophistication. just banning a few at a time. i delete maybe a hundred a day. out of curiosity, i traced a few of the bans to see where they were from. 1. poland 2. southern russia 3. china near shanghai

That was my thought too, and I've been banning the ip's for every spammer I catch.

We probably should go back once in awhile and un-ban the ip's that have been banned for over 6 months--but, I'm not sure how to track that.
