Running a backup programmatically

Is there a way to start a Ghost backup task from another application using for example COM or an API? I am writing an application and I would like to have an option on my menu to allow the user to perform a backup of data to CD using Ghost  Smiley

You don't mention what version of Ghost you are working with--that may change what can or can't be done.

Don't know if this is helpful--this was something brought to light 6-7 years ago, and had to do with Ghost 10--I'm not sure similar capabilities are still shipped with current Ghost 15.  To my knowledge, none of the Ghost 10 users have ever posted any attempts to use the apparent VB scripting ability of Ghost 10:

Maybe these references will point you in a usable direction.
