New FTP acct
Apr 12th, 2014 at 10:39pm

bro, i created your new FTP acct.

see your PM.

your pw makes me hungry. =)

and thirsty.

i apologize for the delay.

fairly straightforward.

you should have access to everything in your subdomain's directory.

lemme know if you have any problems.

have you heard about the heartbleed vulnerability? i totally make use of secure shell, almost every day. i wonder if that was how i was hacked.

http://gizmodo.com/heartbleed-why-the-internets-gaping-security-hole-is-15608126...

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/04/13/us/politics/obama-lets-nsa-exploit-some-intern...

i was confusing SSL with SSH

http://security.stackexchange.com/questions/1599/what-is-the-difference-between-...

I use SSH everyday with WinSCP. So maybe the Heartbleed vulnerability was not the problem.

Thought this was more appropriate for this board than the Bootable CD/DVD board.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that vulnerability is regarding websites that have the https in front of the web address and not just the http without the *s*, and the security *lock* symbol indicating that the website has a *secure* connection.

Is that correct?

Does the Radified website have a problem--it does not have *https* as part of its address?

Does WiredTree--the Radified website hosting servers--have a problem with heartbleed as our hosting company?  Have they communicated anything?  Because we are not using *https*, is there an actual problem that we need to know about?

Big question, I guess, do we need to and/or should we change our passwords here?

Cool, bro.

I had been wondering about that.
