To all

Well, we did not get a white Christmas in the lowlands of Puget Sound here in the Northwest--just a little bit of drizzle (we call it *liquid sunshine*)--but we sure are having one in the mountains!  The main east-west pass across Washington State has been closed now for the last two days.  They hope to open it today--maybe!!!!  Travelers sure had a *Grinch Christmas*.

I guess they just open the highway in both directions--but the power outages are still preventing seeing (cameras are out) the very top of the pass road conditions.....
