I want to join and share Chister's greetings, and so I wish you all for an
authentic
new year, hoping we'll soon defeat the actual pandemic.

Happy New Year to all!!
These holidays have been really gloomy here in Spain, where most of us can barely reunite because of restrictions - I suppose like in most places.
Let's hope that in the following months, new medicine will at least keep deaths to a minimum and let us move and socialize with safety. But it looks like the aftermath will include an unprecedent impact on how our minds work, something to add to the already evident polarization of society. And what might arise amidst this.
It’s going to take us quite a while to figure out how to get on from new safety, and like it says in Rad’s splash page…a lot of creativity. I really do hope we become more creative and end up saving the world.
My best wishes for all, throughout this challenging 2021.

Hey Christer, and any other visitors here--belated Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

***********************************************************

I have an excuse for being late!

You may recall about a year and a half ago I posted that I was having a problem with getting the forum's Icon change that indicated a new post--see here:  http://radified.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1564877437

Well, it happened again with your post above!

And, now several days later, the post from Figment above did cause the Icon to change to indicate a new posting.

As yet, I do not know what may be behind this error.

Anyone else having a similar issue that they have noticed?  Any pattern or set of circumstances that you can discern?

Strange that it occurs seemingly at random. I have no thoughts on "why or how come" and I can't say that it never happende to me on my account. I have the bad (?) habit of clicking "mark all as read" at each visit, even if there were no new posts. Maybe the "inactivity" of the board is the reason for the malfunction? (Hey ...  Wink ... that was a thought or two!)
