Thanks for this guide. It works perfectly.

I have one question, though. You will probably answer it when you get to project 2, but I am going to ask anyway. I am trying to create a bootable DVD then boot the PC from a external DVD ROM. It works great until I get into Ghost to select the image. Ghost can see A:\ and X:\ (which is the PC's CD ROM) but cannot see the external DVD player even though the PC booted from it. Any words of wisdom?

Thanks again for the guide. I am see huge imaging problems getting resolved thanks to this!

You should review this thread regarding some setup and testing of using an external optical drive for Ghost--starting here:  *Norton Ghost*--2003--nemo1--Booting from External USB Optical Drive

Let us know if this helps--and solves your issues!

You guys are geniuses.  That worked like a champ.  I am excited becuase now I can have a bootable DVD that will work on any pc regardless of NIC drivers.  It is a bit faster to image across the network but keeping track of these driver ghost boot disk is maddening.

Thanks for all of the help!

Rad edit: I locked this thread. New posts/topics/questions should problably get their own thread. Otherwise this one might grow unwieldly. Glad to see NightOwl was able to help. He rocks.
