Wendy backpacking at sunset. That's the Tuolomne river near the Glen Aulin High Sierra campsite. We'd been packing for 6 miles at this point, and sent the kids ahead of us to find a nice place to stop for the night. No cars. No stoplights. No malls. No telephones. Nothing but you, the pack & Mother Nature - well, maybe a few blisters and some aches & pains. =)
