Wendy at the Tuolomne river near the Tuolomne Meadows lodge. We always spend a day rock-hopping up the river - always a favorite (besides climbing HalfDome, of course). We all wear our river-shoes and swimming trunks, so there's no prob if you fall in. If we don't fall in, we always jump in - cool off from day. This area is at almost 10K-ft elev. The air's a little thin.
Rather noisy here. The falls make some noise. Waterslide time!
