i x'edout sensitive info.

original msg:

would either of you be interested in participating in this prgm?

http://radified.com/blog/archives/000332.html

if so, i will generate for you some custom channels and accompanying code.

you would replace some of current code with new code.

basically, they want 300x250 medium rectangle (not 336x280 rectangle we currently use) that are "above the fold" (ATF) .. in other words, seen when page opens .. no scrolling req'd.

as i understand, advertisers are NOT currently able to target individual pages with ads .. only web sites. seems odd that a company as powerful as google cannot do better there.

anyway, new prgm is supposed to allow specific page/directory targeting.

google allows 159 custom channels. not sure how they came up with such an odd number. i would be glad to use some of these to create custom channels for your various guides.

lemme know.

you can delete this post after you get/read.

Comcast's email system has been getting pretty *tough* on spam--you must have included something that triggered their filter!

I didn't even find it in their *Screened* mail section!

I wouldn't be opposed to trying something new!

okay, here ya go:

<table width="306" border="0" align="left" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="2" class="no_border">
<tr>
<td class="no_border">
<script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client = "pub-1443215530564704";
google_ad_width = 300;
google_ad_height = 250;
google_ad_format = "300x250_as";
google_ad_type = "text_image";
//2007-01-29: BootableCD/DVDGuide_300x250ATF
google_ad_channel = "9774725760";
google_color_border = "FFFFFF";
google_color_bg = "FFFFFF";
google_color_link = "0000FF";
google_color_text = "000000";
google_color_url = "0000FF";
//--></script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script>
</td></tr></table>

i hope the formatting comes thru okay in the forum.

these ads need to be "above the fold" (top-left)

this code is for *white* pages (FFFFFF). yours are slightly off-white, so you'll need to tweak these values to "blend" your pages:

google_color_border = "FFFFFF";
google_color_bg = "FFFFFF";
google_color_link = "0000FF";
google_color_text = "000000";
google_color_url = "0000FF";

lemme know if anything is unclear

see this page for an example:

seems forum software automatically converted the url into a link.

check that when you copy-n-paste code into your page it isn't altered from the plain-text version i posted.
