Help Wanted. Booting WinXP
Apr 16th, 2007 at 9:51am

Hi,
I have installed Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0 to my new already XP Home installed computer (one HDD) in order to have Windows Vista as second OS. I was practicing quite well with it until few days ago. Now I am stuck as follow:

After powering on computer a beep sounds comes up with the following message: “Starting Acronis Loader.....”
“Acronis Loader: No configuration file present.”
“Press <Enter> to reboot......”

I press to <Enter> same beep, same message.

I will greatly appreciate if any one can advice me how to resolve this problem without loosing my OSs and other bunch of programs? Or at least how to bypass Acronis boot selector so I can use my XP computer again? (Remember I have no access to Windows OSs and dealing with DOS looks black screen).

Thanks,
CoolBum

Bum, many more Acronis users tend to visit the Wilders Security forum than this one.  I recommend that you post your question there.

Best of luck, and please do let us know what you learn.
