	Most users online at 2:33 AM? Jun 25^th, 2007 at 9:15am Noticed "Most users online" stat .. was yesterday (Sunday, a weekend, typically slower) .. at 2:33 AM . Sup wit dat? Obviously they're not based here in the US, since most of us were fast asleep. Wonder where they came from.

not able to sleep on that particular night--so what to do--Radify of course!

I noted this morning that a *new* *most guests* on-line occurred last night at exactly 2:33 am!!!! Same time as the previous high a couple days ago! Is this just coincidental (there is a full moon coming on Saturday--who me, superstitious?!!!), or does this suggest that the site is being targeted by some *zombie* computer network that is out there trying to *spam*, or *crash*, or whatever certain targeted sites?????

that is so weird.

what are the odds of it happening again, at exactly the same minute?

maybe i can review the access records and trace out some of the incoming visits.

too weird.

btw - amish is me in seamonkey browser. (i used to live in lancaster, pa .. center of the amish universe .. very nice people)

i sent an email to lunarpages support, to see if they have any insight into this phenomena. (they are the experts)

yeah, all those 74.6.xx addys are tracing back to yahoo crawl.

i don't understand why they're using so many different ips.

i thot they just have *one* crawler crawl your site .. (with one ip)

we have over 3600 threads (~30K posts). looks like they want them all.

it's best if they dispatch their crawlers in the wee morning hours (like 2-3 am) when most folks are asleep, and the site isn't very busy.

right now is one of the site's busier times.

Reply #12 - Jun 26^th, 2007 at 4:12pm it's 2:10 in the afternoon. we have 109 guests. many of them with ips = 74.6.xx so they are still here. yahoo, if i recall correctly, is under new management, since their ceo stepped down (the guy with connections to the film industry).
