Forum Pages Missing !!??

Hi,
on this thread "why fdisk 4 partitioning & other queries "
http://radified.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1187446572/15#18
Pages two & three are missing!
I had linked to Brian's post on page two - a really helpful tutorial for using Parted Magic/GParted.
Link to post:
http://radified.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1187446572/15#18
But it's gone, today at any rate!
Anyone any ideas??
thanks, tom
PS didnt want to post on other thread just in case it screwed it up more
EDIT:
this is getting even more confusing -
both those links are the same, but the thread is
definitely
cut off

Hmmmm....that's strange!
Each individual poster can delete their own postings. And a Moderator could delete postings--I know, I inadvertently deleted a whole thread started by El_Pescador once when we were having problems with spamming--clicked the wrong button
!
I can say for sure I did not do it, this time
! We'll have to see if any other Moderators have any knowledge!

For me, my queries were answered.
Unfortunately though I didnt save the info anywhere (in particular as I say the tutorial type post from Brian)
Also the link thing is really strange...
I checked my posts (profile) & definitely the last good few are missing
(It was my only thread
and it was definitely into the third page... )

i looked around and was unable to come up with an answer.
admin/mods have the option to break up a thread, which i have done by mistake before, cuz the "split" link is right next to the "modify" link.
but i see no other related threads, which might have been split off.
i have never heard of pages going missing .. except for the original faq.
try searching for terms contained in the missing pages, and see if that turns up any clues.
with the original faq, the posts were still there; we just couldn't access them via normal links.
your thread however is accessible via a normal link. so it's not the same problem.
here is the original faq:
http://radified.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1134841284
your missing pages are a mystery.
also, google might have indexed the pages, so try searching there for key terms (using word radified).

I did keep my tutorial.
Quote:
After you boot to the CD and GParted loads you will see a dropdown menu at the top right. This is for selecting your HDs.....
/dev/hda and /dev/hdb (first and second HD). Make sure you know which one you are altering.
If you make a mistake, the Undo button will get you out of trouble. If you create an incorrect partition, delete it and redo the step.
Your first HD should be all unallocated space.
Let's start on the first primary partition.
Right click in the unallocated space and click New
Make the New Size 30,000 MB, create as Primary partition, File system NTFS
Click Add, click Apply, confirm Apply, click Close
Right click in the new partition rectangle and click Manage Flags. Put a tick in "boot". Click Close
Now for the second Primary partition.
Right click in the unallocated space and click New
Make the New Size 5,000 MB, create as Primary partition, File system NTFS
Click Add, click Apply, confirm Apply, click Close
Right click in the new partition rectangle and click Manage Flags. Put a tick in "hidden". Click Close
Now for the Extended partition.
Right click in the unallocated space and click New
Create as Extended partition. Leave everything else alone
Click Add, click Apply, confirm Apply, click Close
Right click in the new extended partition rectangle and click Manage Flags. Put a tick in "lba". Click Close
Now for the first Logical volume.
Right click in the unallocated space in the extended partition and click New
Make the New Size 50,000 MB, create as Logical partition, File system NTFS
Click Add, click Apply, confirm Apply, click Close
Now for the final Logical volume.
Right click in the unallocated space in the extended partition and click New
Leave the New Size alone, create as Logical partition, File system NTFS
Click Add, click Apply, confirm Apply, click Close
That completes the first HD.
Select the second HD. It should be all unallocated space.
Let's start on the Extended partition.
The Page File partition.
Right click in the unallocated space in the extended partition and click New
Make the New Size 5,000 MB, create as Logical partition, File system FAT32
Click Add, click Apply, confirm Apply, click Close
Now for the second logical volume. The Photoshop Scratch Disk.
Right click in the unallocated space in the extended partition and click New
Make the New Size 5,000 MB, create as Logical partition, File system FAT32
Click Add, click Apply, confirm Apply, click Close
Now for the next Logical volume.
Right click in the unallocated space in the extended partition and click New
Make the New Size 230,000 MB, create as Logical partition, File system NTFS
Click Add, click Apply, confirm Apply, click Close
Now for the final Logical volume.
Right click in the unallocated space in the extended partition and click New
Leave the New Size alone, create as Logical partition, File system NTFS
Click Add, click Apply, confirm Apply, click Close
Exit Parted Magic.
We have created an active primary partition on the first HD. WinXP will be installed to this partition. All you need to do now is boot to the WinXP CD and choose this partition. The second partition will remain hidden until you are ready for a dual boot at some stage in the future.
After WinXP has been installed go to Disk Management and give each partition an appropriate label for easy recognition in the future.
