Could you explain what you mean--are you saying that the directory time stamps change when you restore an image?

I've not looked specifically for the directory time stamps--but I've not seen evidence that this changes!

When does this happen for you--so I can try it for myself?

you are correct.  ghost preserves directory time stamps fine.  i was too harried to write a properly detailed post.

specifically the time stamp issue is wrt ghost explorer.  even though a ghost image has directory time stamps preserved, when restoring with ghost explorer these time stamps are lost.

it would be great if ghost explorer was able to restore directory time stamps.

Ahh...Ghost Explorer!

I think this is a *Windows* thing--if you replace backed up directories using Windows Explorer, you get the same updated directory date for the replaced directory!

As with any of the pieces of Ghost if you want it to do something new and different the places to ask for it are linked in this thread on the official boards, specifically here for Ghost Explorer.
