Drive Image Backup:  A Review of the Top Products

This recent (February, 2008) review of drive image backup software may be of interest to readers of the forum:  Drive-Imaging:  Beyond Backup.  The products in the review include:
  • Acronis True Image 11 Home
  • Paragon Drive Backup 8.5 Personal Edition
  • ShadowProtect Desktop 3.1
  • Symantec's Norton Ghost 12.0
  • DriveImage XML
Among the products reviewed, the “Editor’s Choice” is ShadowProtect Desktop.

Looks like you made a wise choice, Pleo. Tho the link takes you to a Ghost 12 page.

Yes, Norton Ghost 12 did receive a very good review, too.  I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Norton Ghost to anyone, even though I currently prefer an alternative (ShadowProtect).

Product reviews such as this one are “one data point” to consider when making a purchase decision.  Obviously, this review (or any other) can’t (and shouldn’t) be a substitute for thinking about your own individual needs and unique requirements.
