Missing drive
Mar 25th, 2008 at 3:05am

Hi all
I am Trying to use Norton Ghost 2002
The boot disc is PC DOS with USB & LPT.
Windows XP2 with SATA Hard drive split into 2 partitions. C Ntfs D Fat32
I choose Local>Partition>Image. Selected Drive 1. When it asked me where to copy image to I choose D. It would get to 26% then say it was out of room. I emptied D drive which was 35gig free. The image size was about 12 gig. Stilled failed. Played around and tried disk to disk this informed me that D would loose all data I accepted. D drive now has Data and is changed to NTFS - I understand why. Now when I boot off same Floppy to try Partition to image Drive C & D have disappeared from the save to drop down box.
Any Ideas what I may have done wrong.
Cheers

My memory of 2002 is hazy. I thot v2002 did not sppt SATA or NTFS.

Can you get you hands on v2003?

Sometimes drives contain data not recognized by O/S, but still seen by Ghost. Empty trash. Do you have Norton Utilities installed? Sometimes that prgm hides data. (Norton "Protected")

I had a similar problem once.
