Around Dec 2005, Lavalys discontinued the 'Home' version of Everest. See here.
Will the old version of Lavalys Everest Home Edn. work as well with newer hardware? (Everest *is* a good hardware monitoring program & I would like to continue using it, if the old version will give reliable results on newer PCs).

Also, is the lite version of SiSoft Sandra sufficient for home users? (who just need a good overview of the hardware components for reference & not detailed system benchmarks or burn-in tests).

If you happen to know of other utilities that are similar, please mention them on this thread.
