Booting a CD from a floppy
Feb 12th, 2009 at 3:46pm

Hey guys.

I can boot my CD by changing my bios, but that brings in a bunch of other issues which are not pertinent here, although I would be willing to state them if asked.

What I would like is to format a floppy with software which will boot my DVD and allow me to use my mouse and keyboard to make the appropriate selections required by the CD software.

Examples are, boot the Windows XP Installation disk or the Norton Ghost disk.

Hey guys:)

Found my solution with a bit of software called "Bootable CD Wizard v1.50Z"

It's found at "http://bootcd.narod.ru/bcdw_e.htm"

It's booted the CD's etc, but I haven't tested it out completely yet such as creating a ghost image or installing a ghost image.

If I have a problem (which seems unlikely), I'll be baaaaaaaaaack.Smiley

Thanks to all for your time and patience in reading my post.
