Using aliases for external drives
Jan 6th, 2010 at 7:11pm

I have two external esata drives and would like to use the alias feature as described on the page 41 of Ghost 14 manual.  So far I have not figured out how to assign alias to the drives.

Thanks for your help.

What part of the procedure is giving you trouble?

From the User Guide, it looks like you select from the main screen *Tasks > Options*, then under *Destinations*, click *External drives*--there should be a list of external drives that have been seen by Windows there--you should be able to select any of the listed HDDs and create the *alias* name of your choosing.  It's possible that the HDD has to be hooked up in order to work with it--but, it actually seems to imply that even drives not currently hooked up might be listed as well!
