bootable thumb drive

If you have ever try to make a usb thumb drive bootable
try this take a old hd and load bootable dos then
take ghost and ghost it to a file put the thum
drive in then ghost the file to the thumb drive
the tb drive will be bootable. Or try file below.

Interesting. I tried your file but in Ghost 2003 it says "win98.GHO is not a Norton Ghost file...."

We've covered making a thumb drive bootable, right here in this forum, in great detail.
It's really quite simple, using the HP program to make a USB Thumb Drive bootable.
You can download that file here:

Then you need only the three DOS files to boot into dos.
Command.com
IO.sys
MSDos.sys

If you don't have any boot disk to get those files from, you can download them from the internet.

Put that file in a new folder and extract the three files, then point the HP program to those files, to put on the flash drive, to make it bootable.

Then you can add Ghost or whatever program you want, to the flash drive.
