Just popped back in to say that the operation was a resounding success, and I now have the new drive up and running in place of the old one. Thanks to Brian and especially to my namesake Dan for all the help! Smiley

One of my friends wants to swap drives as well, so I'm gonna try GSS 2.5.1's Ghost.exe this time to see if it can help me shorten the process by doing away with the need for BCD editing or repairing using the DVD. Any tips on whether this will actually work?
