The first installation that this happened on I figured it was a fluke or the user had somehow messed up something. But now it's happened again, on my own system. 

I'm talking about Norton Ghost 10.0 installs that went perfectly, got activated online and then 4-6 months after being in use they pop up a message that the 15 day trial period is over and you have to activate. 

It wasn't a huge deal for me, I just went in and told it to go activate again and it did.  Unfortunately, the other install went into this mode and for some unknown reason the user never saw anything about this problem so the nightly backups hadn't been happening for many weeks!

Anyone else seeing this?  I've got one other client with this setup but it's only about a month old and it's still working. But I will be keeping an eye on that one.
