I am using Ghost 12 and am planning on using the Norton Removal Tool to remove Norton Internet Security from my computer.
This will also remove Norton Ghost and I would like to know if there is a way to prevent this? I am presently using Ghost to backup all my files.
After I use the removal tool what has to be restored besides the usual program files? I assume the registry also but what else?
Or should I just re-install Ghost after running the removal tool?  Will this still allow me access to my backup files?

I have done this, and it's no biggie.

I would uninstall Ghost first.

Then just install everything afterwards .. just like normal (and run Live Update).

The NRT does a good job of wiping out all remnants of programs.
