	Converting USB Flash Drive yo NTFS Apr 5^th, 2011 at 7:46pm It is not possible to format a flash drive as NTFS. I have however, converted my flash drive to NTFS from the command prompt like this, Convert G: /FS:NTFS. Does NTFS on a flash drive, offer any advantage? Thank you.

	Re: Converting USB Flash Drive yo NTFS Reply #2 - Apr 7^th, 2011 at 12:10pm If you don't require NTFS on the flash drive, it's generally not recommended. It tends to be slower and does much more writing to the drive due to the file system (this can wear it out more quickly). NTFS allows placing files larger than 4GB on the flash drive. Otherwise, I usually just leave them FAT32. Paul
