I have a duel boot setup with Win7 and WinXP pro that Brian helped me setup.
I make new images after changes to my PC, and ghost 15 always includes the other hidden drive in the backup.
Now, when I get to page that says "Add Related Drives" I see the other hidden Drive, the box is checked, next to that there's a red circle with a white X in the middle, then this (*./)  then 149GB, then boot configuration data base.
It backs up my C: drive, but no longer backs up the other drive in my duel boot.
Brian, are you there?

Here you are Brian, BTW WinXP boots up just fine.

Can you use the Snipping Tool and cut out the Define Backup Wizard section of the second screenshot. The current one is too blurred to read. Sorry.

While we are waiting to see that screenshot let me make a few comments. Many people have a SRP and a Win7 partition. You and I don't. Ghost offers to back them up together as they are "related". If there is a HD failure people restore the images "together" as that is the easy thing to do in Ghost. But new Win7 won't boot because there is a bug in Ghost which causes the partitions to be reversed on the new HD. Win7 becomes the first partition and the SRP becomes the second partition.

In a Microsoft dual boot (which you don't have) Ghost sees the "related" drives and offers to back them up together.

I've always avoided the shortcuts and backup and restore the partitions one at a time. I wonder whether Ghost is misunderstanding your system because you don't have "related" drives. Your OS are independent.

I suspect you have been letting Ghost backup the two OS together. Does it work if you backup the partitions individually? Ignore that message about "related" drives.

The red icon with a cross is your WinXP partition. Can you do a One Time Backup on that partition?

Also, I noticed in your most recent image posting--you have named some of the volumes, but not all of them!  It gives you one more piece of evidence as to which partition is which if each has a unique name.  I label my WinXP OS partition as *WinXP*.  And my Win98 as (you guessed it!) *Win98*.  And Win7 as *Win7*.

I see that your two OS partitions are almost identical in size.  Again, I create partitions with a noticeable size difference (doesn't have to be *huge*--maybe 10 GBs or so)--again, to help create one more identifiable difference so it's easier to know I'm working with the correct partition when doing various imaging or partition manipulations.

What you're calling the *hidden WinXP* partition is missing from the top part of Disk Management--so can't see the details that are shown there.  On my Disk Management (WinXP), it shows hidden partitions as *(Health, Unknown Partition)*.  So, apparently in Win7, that labeling of the partition has changed in Disk Management?

But, I don't see any way to *know* that the *C:/* partition is either Win7 or WinXP.  What did I miss?

Yes, the "One Time Backup" worked. My main concern was that Red circle, which is now gone. I guess I don't remember seeing that before.
Why Ghost 15  see's the two drives "As Related" but no longer backs both up, I don't know.
Now that I've successfully ran the "One Time Backup" I'll just do it that way from now on.
